Dani Horan Jenny’s Crossfit Pre-workout

We interviewed CrossFit athlete and overall phenomenal woman, Dani Horan Jenny, to find out more about how she cares for herself mind, body and spirit pre and post-workout.  Here’s what she had to say about her daily regimen and how Kafina® helps fuel her well-being and success.

K: What’s your pre-workout routine?

D: My pre-workout routine starts with a glass of water with lemon and Himalayan sea salt, followed up with 10 minutes of stretching.  I take a shot of Kafina® or I’ll have a small cup of Coffee with a shot of Kafina® in it and do some breathing drills.  I try to do some visualization drills depending on what type of training I’m doing.  And just like that, I’m ready to go! 

K: Do you use Kafina® as fuel for every workout?

D: I take Kafina® before every single workout!  If I know that my session is going to be a little longer, I actually take half a bottle before and half during my session.  I have found this to be very effective.

K: What’s your post-workout routine?

D: I spin easy on a bike or walk outside when the weather allows.  I try to think about three things I did well and three things I want to do better. I write these down in my training journal.

K: How does Kafina® make you feel & work for you?

D: Kafina® makes me feel very focused and that focus helps me perform best in my training.  I was actually diagnosed with ADD when I was a little girl, Kafina® helps me not get side tracked.  Kafina® works for me because there are no negative side effects, no crash and no shakes.

K: What other ways do you use Kafina® outside of pre-workout?

D: I use Kafina® if I need to get a lot of work done on my computer, if I need to do a lot of cleaning at my house or the gym, or if I’m going to a function late at night.  I have a really early bed time and sometimes it’s challenging for me to stay up late! Kafina® definitely helps me stay more alert when I’m out at night.
